Staffs affiliated to Local Body Employees' Union Saptari agitating since two weeks staged sit-in protest halting the work completely. Service bearers of Saptari with most number of VDCs and municipality (5 municipality and 91 VDCs) have suffered due to agitation of more than 350 staffs in the district. Earlier on Friday, the agitated staffs pen downed for three hours and protested with black arm bands . The Local Bodies’ Joint Movement Coordination Committee have made the activities of movement public as the government turned deaf ear to their demands. दुई सातादेखी चरणबद्ध आन्दोलन गर्दै आइरहेका स्थानीय निकाय टेड युनियन सप्तरीसँग आवद्ध कर्मचारीहरु आइतबारदेखि पूर्णरुपले कामकाज बन्द गरि धर्ना बसेका छन् । ३ सय ५० बढी सप्तरीका स्थानीय निकायका कर्मचारीहरु आन्दोलनमा उत्रेपछि यहाँका सेवाग्राहीहरु निकै अप्ठ्यारोमा परेका छन् । सप्तरीमा हाल पाँच नगरपालिका र मुलुककै सबैभन्दा बढी ९१ गविस रहेको छ । यसअघि शुक्रबार कर्मचारीहरुले तीन घण्टा कलम बन्द गरी हातमा कालो पट्टी बाँधेर धर्नामा बसेका थिए । यसैबीच स्थानीय निकाय टेड युनियन संयुक्त समन्वय समितिले आफुहरुको आन्दोलनप्रति राज्यले कुनै चासो नदेखाएको भन्दै दोस्रो चरणका आन्दोलनका कार्यक्रमहरु सार्वजानिक गरेको छ ।
