Members of women's group in Balewa of Baglung have padlocked mechanical bridge joining Kusma of Parbat with Balewa of Baglung against price hike for the service without consultation with the locals. The bridge has been closed since March 18 due to the padlock. The protestors claim the rise in fair to be unscientific and abnormal. The fair for locals has been raised to Nrs.100 which previously used to be Nrs.75 and Nrs.125 from Nrs.100 for others.
