Independent journalists staged a silent-demonstration with playcards at Chitwan Office of the Federation of Nepalese Journalist on March 22. The protest was hinted towards alleged irregularity in the selection of memership, breaching the charter. Independant journalists,representatives from Krantikari Patrakar Mahasangh and Media Nepal had participated in the program. They warned that the protest program would go longer should their demands go unheard. नेपाल पत्रकार महासंघको ११ औँ अधिवेशनमा विधान मिचेर पार्षद चयन गरिएको भन्दै स्वतन्त्र पत्रकारहरुले विरोध जनाएका छन् । विरोधस्वरूप महासंघ कार्यालय अगाडी बुधबार प्लेकार्डसहित मौन प्रदर्शन गरिएको छ । मौन प्रदर्शनमा "मिल्नुस तर विधि ननिल्नुस" जस्ता नारासहित प्लेकार्ड प्रदर्शन गरिएको थियो । सो कार्यक्रममा स्वतन्त्र पत्रकार रमेश कुमार पौडेल, राजु चौधरी, विमर्श कंडेल, वसन्त ढुंगाना,क्रान्तिकारी पत्रकार महासंघका केन्द्रीय सदस्य शंकर सुवेदी, जिल्ला अध्यक्ष सूर्य बराल,मिडिया नेपाल जिल्ला अध्यक्ष शंकर निर्देश लगायतको सहभागिता रहेको थियो । स्वतन्त्र पत्रकार राजु चौधरीले विधान विपरित कार्य नरोकिएसम्म आन्दोलन जारी राख्ने बताउनुभयो ।
