Locals of Ladhobela of Janakpur demonstrated on Monday against building a pond in land of Guthi Sansthan. Locals demanded action against Guthi Sansthan giving the tender to build the pond. They also handed over a memorandum to CDO to pause the building of pond in Guthi land. The agitation started when the contractor started to build the pond for fish farming after getting the contract. As per the contractor they are constructing pond legally; using the land on lease with an agreement to pay annually to Guthi Sansthan. As the case has been taken to court, CDO Dilio Chapagain has ordered to halt the work until the court gives the order. The contractor claimed to continue with the building of pond as they have fulfilled the process . According to Dependra Thakur, they have already spent 8 million and could contribute the mission of government to upgrade fish production also controlling land encroachment. गुठी संस्थानले जनकपुरको लादोवेलामा रहेको जग्गा पोखरी खनाउनका लागि दिएको भन्दै स्थानीयबासीले सोमबार विरोध प्रदर्शन गरेका छन् । लादोवेलाबाट आएका व्यक्तिहरुले ठेक्का दिने गुठीमाथि कारवाहीको माग गर्दै प्रदर्शन पनि गरेको छ । स्थानीयबासीले कुनै पनि हालतमा सो जग्गामा पोखरी खन्न नदिने भन्दै प्रमुख जिल्ला अधिकारीलाई ज्ञापनपत्र पनि दिएको छ । गुठी संस्थानले सो जग्गाबाट कुनै आय नभएको भन्दै पोखरी खनाएर माछा पालनका लागि लिजमा ठेक्का दिएपछि ठेकेदारले पोखरी खनाउन थालेपछि त्यसको विरोधमा प्रदर्शन गरिएको छ । यता ठेक्का लिएका ठेकेदारले आफूले गुठी संस्थानलाई वार्षिक रकम बुझाउने गरि लिजमा लिएकाले कानून सम्मत किसिमले नै काम गरिरहेको बताएका छन् । अदालतमा पनि मुद्दा दिएकाले अदालतको आदेश नआएसम्मको लागि काम रोक्नका लागि प्रमुख जिल्ला अधिकारी दिलीप चापागाईले ठेकेदारलाई जानकारी दिएका छन् । गुठी संस्थानले रितबमोजिम नै प्रक्रिया पुर्याएर लिजमा दिएकाले आफूहरुले पोखरी खन्न पाउने ठेकेदारको दावी रहेको छ । ठेकेदार दिपेन्द ठाकुरले सोही ठाउँका भोगेन्द चौधरी तथा वैद्यनाथ पातीका साथै अन्य काम गर्दै आएको कारणले उनीहरुले नै विरोध गरेको बताए । ठेकेदारले आफूहरुले ८० लाख रकम खर्च गरेर पोखरी खनाउन थालेको र यसले जग्गाको अतिक्रमण रोक्नुको साथै नेपाल सरकारको मत्स्य उत्पादन बढाउने मिसनलाई पनि मद्दत पुग्ने दावी गरेका छन् ।
