The residents of Hariharpur in Mithila Municipality, Janakpur, blocked the Janakpur-Dhalkebar road on Wednesday, demanding the government to integrate the village in the municipality of Chhireshwor. The locals said Hariharpur used to be a part of Chhireshwor and they wish to remain part of it. The village was included in Mithila Municipality by the Local Level Restructuring Commission.
