A man who was on the run after killing his own wife over a dispute was arrested in Bhojpur district on Sunday evening. The arrestee has been identified as Harka Bahadur Tamang (38) and the deceased as his wife Muna Tamang (35) of Amtek of Bhojpur Municipality-10 of Bhojpur district on Sunday. The incident took place when Tamang attacked his wife Muna Tamang (35) with a khukuri, a sharp weapon, over a minor dispute yesterday, according to the District Police Office (DPO). A joint team of security personnel deployed from the DPO and the police posts in the area arrested Tamang who had fled the scene together with his 12-year-old son Saugat Tamang. The duo Tamang were held from the jungle in the area, at around 7:00 pm yesterday, said police. Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been kept at the District Hospital, Bhojpur, for the postmortem. भोजपुर नगरपालिका–११ बस्ने ३५ बर्षीया मुना तामाङको खुकुरी प्रहारबाट मृत्यु भएको छ । उनलाई शनिबार उनकै ३८ बर्षीय श्रीमान हर्क बहादुर तामाङले शरीरको बिभिन्न भागमा धारिलो हतियार खुकुरी प्रहार गरी हत्या गरेका थिए । घटना पश्चात अभियुक्त हर्क बहादुर तामाङले १३ बर्षीय छोरा सौगात तामाङलाई लिई फरार भएकोले प्रहरीले खोजतलास गर्नुको साथै आवश्यक अनुसन्धान गरिरहेको छ ।
