25-years-old Binod Mahara of Lahan 12 was arrested on Monday evening for sexually assaulting 13-years-old girl of Village Area 13 of Lahan municipality. According to police the incident took place in a construction site where both the perpetrator and the victim were working. The victim's family filed a FIR at Area Police Office Lahan on Sunday saying that the assault took place on Friday afternoon. According to DSP Hira Bahadur Pandey, the accused was arrested for further investigation. The victim underwent health check up on the same day at Ram Kumar Sarada Dr Uma Prasad Muraraka Memorial Hospital at Lahan. सिरहाको लहान नगरपालिकाअन्र्तगत ग्रामीण क्षेत्रको १३ वर्षीया किशोरीलाई यौन दुर्व्यवहार गरेको आरोपमा प्रहरीले एक युवकलाई पक्राउ गरेको छ । इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय लहानका प्रहरी नायव उपरीक्षक हिरा बहादुर पाण्डेका अनुसार लहान १२ का २५ वर्षीय विनोद महरालाई यौन दुर्व्यवहारको आरोपमा सोमबार साँझ प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको हो । यौन दुर्व्यवहारमा परेकी भनिएकी किशोरी र आरोपी निमाृण मजदुरको काम गरिरहेको समयमा घटना भएको जनाइएको छ । पछिल्लो शुक्रबार अपरान्ह महराले किशोरीलाई यौन दुर्व्यवहार गरेको भन्दै किशोरीको परिवारले इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय लहानमा आइतबार लिखित जाहेरी दिएपछि अनुसन्धानका लागि आरोपीलाई पक्राउ गरिएको प्रहरी नायव उपरिक्षक पाण्डेले बताए । पीडित किशोरीको त्यही दिन लहानस्थित रामकुमार शारदा डा उमाप्रसाद मुरारका स्मारक अस्पतालमा स्वास्थ्य परिक्षण गरिएको थियो ।
