Girl rescued from being marriage in Dhading

A 15 years old girl of Benighat Rorang village council-10 has been rescued from the marriage site in the initiation of Paurakhi Women Cooperatives of Jogimara on April 21 while she was getting married.
The girl was rescued and sent to the District Child welfare committee after the police post of Jogimara was informed about the marriage according to Hari Maya Thakuri of the cooperatives.
The girl was given shelter at child home according to District Child welfare committee officer Hari Uprety.
Underage marriage is against the law and the family were given counselling about it.
