The locals have padlocked the main gate of the Manipal Hospital in protest of doctor’s denial on treating the injured victims in road accident in Kagbeni of Mustang. The doctors in the hospital denied treating the injured as they are in a protest demanding to enforce Labor Act. The locals released a press statement and padlocked the hospital’s main gate according to inspector Ishwor Lamsal of ward police office. The locals complained doctors of being irresponsible on providing treatment to seriously injured patients. They added that treatment of critical patients should be given priority and this is the maximum negligence of the hospital administration. Fourteen injured people are getting treatment in various hospitals in Pokhara according to DSP Khadga Bahadur Khatri of District Police Office of Kaski. मुस्ताङको कागबेनीमा वैशाख ९ गते भएको सवारी दुर्घटनाका घाइतेलाई उपचार गर्न अस्वीकार गरेको भन्दै मणीपाल शिक्षण अस्पतालको मुल गेटमा स्थानीयले ताला लगाएका छन् । मुस्ताङबाट बिरामीलाई हेलिकप्टरमा मणीपाल अस्पताल ल्याइएको भएपनि डाक्टरहरू श्रम ऐन लागु गर्नुपर्ने माग राख्दै आन्दोलनमा रहेको कारण देखाउँदै बिरामी भर्ना गर्न नमानेपछि स्थानीयले प्रेस विज्ञप्ति जारी गर्दै अस्पतालको मुल गेटमा ताला लगाएको वडा प्रहरी कार्यालय बगरका इन्सपेक्टर इश्वर लम्सालले बताए । जस्तोसुकै अवस्थामा पनि गम्भीर घाइतेको उपचारलाई पहिलो प्राथामिकतामा राख्नुपर्ने स्वास्थ्यकर्मीले त्यसो गर्न नसकेको भन्दै स्थानीयले अस्पताल प्रशासनको लापरबाहीले हद नागेको प्रतिक्रिया दिए । दुर्घटनामा परी घाइते भएका १४ जनाको उपचार पोखराका विभिन्न अस्पतालमा भइरहेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यलय कास्कीका डिएसपी खड्कबहादुर खत्रीले बताए ।
