Morcha has protested in Nawalparasi against the local election. United Democratic Madhesi Front held a rally on 13 April protesting the local election. The rally started from the office of Terai-Madhes Democratic Party went to district administration office and ended by returning to Buddhachok as a corner assembly. Addressing the assembly, acting president of Terai-Madhes Democratic party Puran Chaudhari stated that until the constitution is amended with demarcation provision they will not participate in election. नवलपरासीमा मधेसी मोर्चाले विरोध प्रदर्शन गरेको छ । संयुक्त लोकतान्त्रिक मधेसी मोर्चाले र्‍याली निकाल्दै विरोध प्रदर्शन गरेको हो । तमलोपाको पार्टी कार्यालयबाट निकालिएको विरोध र्‍याली परासीको बुद्धचोक हुँदै जिल्ला प्रशासनको अगाडी गएर नाराबाजी गरेको थियो । विरोध र्‍याली जिल्ला प्रशासनबाट फर्केर बुद्धचोकमा कोण संभा गरेको थियो । कोण सभालाई सम्भोधन गर्दै तमलोपाका कार्यवाहक अध्यक्ष पुरन चौधरीले सिमांकन सहितको संविधान संसोधन नभएसम्म निर्वाचनमा भाग नलिने बताएका छन् ।
