Dalit family members were beaten by the so-called upper caste people for allegedly entering a temple in Dohani-6, Kapilvastu, on Saturday. Six family members of Rajaram Kori are currently undergoing treatment at Bhairahawa-based Universal Teaching Hospital after they were severely beaten for entering the temple. The victims said on Wednesday that they were attacked by one Ramananda Chaudhary and his supporters for entering the Devi Temple. Rajaram said Chaudhary and the others stormed their home and attacked them with Khukuris and spears. Police have arrested Chaudhary and two others for an investigation. (PR) देवीथानमा पूजा गरेको आरोप लगाउँदै कपिलवस्तुको दोहनी ६, बेलौहास्थित एक दलित परिवारमाथि कुटपिट गरिएको छ । घाइते ६ जनाको भैरहवास्थित युनिभर्सल शिक्षण अस्पतालमा उपचार भइरहेको छ । गत शनिबार साँझ राजाराम कोरीको परिवारमाथि गाउँकै रामानन्द चौधरीलगायतको समूहले आफ्नो जमिनमा रहेको देवीको थानमा पूजाआजा गरेको भन्दै कुटपिट गरेको पीडितको दाबी छ । ‘पूजाआजाको विषयलाई लिएर जग्गाधनी चौधरीको समूहले घरमै आएर आक्रमण गरे,’ राजारामले भने, ‘हामीलाई बारम्बार अपमान गर्ने गरिएको छ ।’ पूजा सकेर फर्कने क्रममा चौधरीकी पत्नीले आफ्नो जमिनमा चमार जाति किन गएको ? भन्दै गालीगलौज गरेको राजारामले बताए । काकामाथि हानिएको खुकुरीको प्रहारलाई छेक्न खोज्दा बुबा जगनारायणको हात काटिएको राजारामको भनाइ छ । कुटपिटबाट जगनारायण, रामप्रखन, राजाराम, तीर्था, सावित्री र सद्धा कोरीलगायत घाइते छन् । कपिलवस्तुका एसपी भोजजंग शाहले उक्त घटनामा संलग्न रामानन्द चौधरीसहित ३ जनालाई पक्राउ गरेर मुद्दा दर्ता गरिएको बताए ।
