Temporary policemen Abi Ram Pandey, 19 , Prabhujan Sejuwal, 21, Lokendra Neupane 20 and Naura Buda hired for the local level election by District Police office of Kalikot have accused police constable Prem Chand, 31 of DPO of beating them on May 22. The victims said that they were beaten by the accused while they were in a row. Among the victims, Abi Ram Pandey sustained chest and ear injuries whereas the condition of others remains normal. The victims retaliated after they were beaten by the accused. They have lodged a complaint at DPO against the accused however DSP Yogendra Khadka said that the incident is under investigation.
