Locals of Bahuarwa VDC called for a strike on Tuesday morning in protest of Bahuarwa VDC being merged to Dhanauji Rural municipality under local level restructuring. Locals burnt the tyre saying that Dhanauji rural municipality is inaccessible to them. They also opposed the decision of merging saying that Dhanauji has comparatively less population density and size than Bahuarwa. स्थानीय तहको संरचनाअन्र्तगत धनुषा जिल्लाको बहुअर्वा गाविसलाई धनौजी गाउँपालिकामा गाभिन लागेको विरोधमा मंगलबार बिहान स्थानीयले चक्काजाम गरी विरोध प्रदर्शन गरेका छन् । विगतमा बहुअर्वा गाउँ नै सिँगो गाविस भएको धनौजी गाउँपालिका टाढा, पायक तथा कल्सटर रुटमा नपर्ने भन्दै गाउँबासीहरुले सडकमा टायर बालेर विरोध प्रदर्शन गरेका हुन् । बहुअर्वाको अगाडी धनौजी गाउँको जनघनत्व , आयतन तथा आकार समेत न्यून रहेकोमा बहुअर्वालाई धनौजी गाउँपालिकामा गाभिनुलाई कुनै पनि हालतमा स्वीकार्य गर्न नसकिने स्थानीयहरुले बताए ।
