Locals of Raghunathpur picketed District Administration Office (DAO) for some hours demanding separate Village Council status. They demanded for the free status removing Raghunathpur from Sabaila. Locals who were more than thousands in number made around different parts of the city chanting slogans. Stating that Raghunathpur has more than 2 thousand population, they protested against the discriminatory treatment of the state. धनुषा जिल्लाको रघुनाथपुर निवासी आफ् नो गाउँलाई छुट्टै गाउँपालिका बनाउनुपर्ने माग गर्दै जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालय केही घण्टा घेराउ गरेर प्रदर्शन गरेको छ । रघुनाथपुरबाट विभिन्न पार्टी समर्थित आम जनताको सहभागिता रहेको उनीहरुले आफूलाई सबैलामा नराखेर स्वतन्त्र रहन दिनका लागि पनि माग गरेका छन् । हजारभन्दा बढीको सहभागिता रहेको उनीहरु नारा सहित नगरको विभिन्न भागको परिक्रमा गरेका थिए । आफूहरुको २० हजार भन्दा बढी जनसंख्या भए पनि राज्यले विभेद गरेर केही नेताको ईशारामा सबैलामा राख्ने काम भएको भन्दै विरोधमा उत्रेका छन् । विरोधमा रघुनाथपुरमा भएका सबै दलका व्यक्तिहरु सहभागि भएका थिए ।
