A dead body of woman was found in Itahari of Sunsari district. 29-year-old Ranju Thakuri was found drowning in a pond. According to the police, the pond where she was found dead is inside the garden of formal Major General Kumar Fudong in Itahari-4 of Sunsari district. Fudong’s house is at Itahari Sub-metropolitan City-4. There is a garden stretching along the wide area of land where a resort used to be run few years back. Sujata and her husband Ranjit Rana Magar were staffers at the resort then. Sujata and Ranjit had an inter-caste marriage. After Sujata became pregnant, she left the job and went to Kathmandu. She did not go to Ranit’s house for the fear that his parents would not accept her. Sujata and Ranjit were not living together since last eight months. Sujata had come to Fudong’s house in Itahari on Monday morning at 8:30 am. She was found dead at 10 am. सुनसरीको इटहरीमा एक महिलाको लास फेला परेको छ। २९ वर्षीया रञ्जु ठकुरीको लास पोखरीमा डुबेको अवस्थामा फेला परेको हो। इटहरी ४ स्थित कुमार फुदोङको लिची बगैँचाको पोखरीमा भेटिएको उक्त लासको प्रकृती हेर्दा तिघ्रामा निलडाम छ भने पानीले जिउ सुन्निएको छ। कसैले हत्या गरी फालेको हुन सक्ने अनुमान गरिएको छ। उक्त बगैँचा पूर्व जर्नेल कुमार फुदोङको हो। फुदोङ माओवादी केन्द्रबाट सुनसरी क्षेत्र नं. २ का सविधान सभा सदस्य पदका उम्मेदवार समेत थिए। केही समयअघि उक्त बगैँचामा रिसोर्ट समेत चलेको थियो । केही महिना सञ्चालनमा आएर बन्द भएको रिसोर्टमा काम गर्ने गरेको स्थानियले बताएका छन्। यता गोरखामा बस्दै आएका रञ्जुका श्रीमानले भने आफूहरु ९ महिनाअघि नै छुट्टिइसकेको बताउनुभएको छ। तीन दिनअघि मात्र श्रीमानलाई भेट्न गोरखा पुगेकी रञ्जु काठमाडौ जान्छु भनेर हिडेको बताइएको छ।
