A man has killed his wife with a sharp weapon in Bhagawan Rural Municipality in the Siraha district on Tuesday. According to police, Bal Krishna Yadav, 35, hacked his wife Ram Kala Yadav, 25, to death. Yadav who was doing time in custody on the charge of smuggling narcotics drug had been released just a month ago. According to locals, Yadav was accusing his wife of having extramarital affairs. When the quarrel reached its climax, Yadav hacked her to death with a sharp weapon in a fit of rage on Monday, police said. “Police arrested Yadav while he was absconding after murdering his wife,” DSP Hira Bahadur Pandey of Area Police Office, Lahan, told Republica Online. In a statement during the preliminary inquiry of the police, Bal Krishna admitted to have killed his wife. “In a fit of rage, I killed my wife after finding her to be keeping extramarital relationship with another man,” Yadav said. Yadav, a former Armed Police Force personnel, had been arrested on the charge of smuggling narcotics drugs two years ago. सिरहाको भगवानपुर गाउँपालिकामा असार १३ गते दिउँसो भगवानपुर गाउँपालिका-१ की २९ वर्षीया रामकला यादवलाई खुकुरी प्रहार गरी हत्या गरेको आरोपमा प्रहरीले उनका ३० वर्षीय पति बालकृष्ण यादवलाई गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । घरायसी विवादमा बालकृष्णले प्रहार गरेको खुकुरी घाँटीमा लागेर रामकलाको घटनास्थलमा नै मृत्यु भएको इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय लहानका डिएसपी हिराबहादुर पाण्डेले जानकारी दिए । मृतकको शव परीक्षणका लागि लहानस्थित रामप्रसाद उमा स्मारक अस्पताल ल्याइएको डिएसपी पाण्डेले बताए । पत्नीको हत्या गरेको घटनाका आरोपित बालकृष्ण लागुऔषध मुद्दामा जेल सजाय भुक्तान गरी केही दिनअघि मात्र घर फर्केका थिए । दुई छोरी र एक छोराकी आमा रामकलाको बालकृष्णसँग करिब ९ वर्षअघि विवाह भएको थियो ।
