Locals and businessman collectively shut down Gausala Bazar of Mahottari district accusing the police of manhandling Rajaram Giri, the Mahottari district chairman of FNCCI and executive member of province 2. Police had taken control Rajaram Giri in a dispute over regular checking of police. The locals and businessman jointly shut down Gausala bazar following the incident. In a press release, the industry and commerce association, Gausala accused the police of thrashing their chairman for 3 hours. On the other hand, inspector of Area Police office Gausala said that they took Giri under control after he attempted to manhandle a cop on duty. गौशाला उध्योग बाणिज्य संघका अध्यक्ष्य एवं उद्योग बाणिज्य संघ प्रदेश नं २ का कार्यसमिति सदस्य राजाराम गिरीलाई प्रहरीले दुर्व्यवहार गरेको भन्दै गौशाला उद्योग बाणिज्य संघ र स्थानीय ब्यापारीले गौशाला बजार बन्द गराएका छन् । बुधबार बिहान गौशाला नगरपालिका-५ मा नियमित चेकजाँच गर्ने क्रममा बढेको विवाद हालाहालमा परिणत भएपछि प्रहरीले गौशाला उद्योग बाणिज्य संघका अध्यक्ष्य राजाराम नियन्त्रणमा लिएको थियो । सोहि घटनालाई देखाउंदै स्थानीय र ब्यापारी मिलेर संयुक्त रुपमा बजार बन्द गराएका हुन् । गौशाला उध्योग बाणिज्य संघको बसेको आकस्मिक बैठकले एक बिज्ञप्ति जारी गर्दै प्रहरीले बिनाकारण आफ्ना अध्यक्ष्यलाई गाली बेइज्जती गरेको त ३ घण्टा थुनामा राखेको बिरोधमा आफुँ हरुले बजार बन्द गरेको जनाएको छ । यता इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय गौशालाका प्रहरी निरीक्षक सम्भु पोखरेलले गिरीले ड्युटीमा रहेका प्रहरीलाई हातपात गरेकाले सोधपुछका लागि नियन्त्रनमा लिएको बताए ।
