30-year-old Laxman from Helambu rural municipality who was on run after allegedly raping a woman from the same place has been arrested after two months from the incident's date. Laxman reportedly ran to India following the incident. Upon being notified that he had returned to the village, Area Police Melamchi deployed a team and eventually apprehended him from Beltar. He is being held into custody for further investigation following the District Court's order for him to be remanded. हेलम्बु गाउँपालिकाकी एक महिलालाई बलात्कार गरेर फरार भएका अभियुक्त साढे दुई महिनापछि पक्राउ परेका छन् । भारत पलायन भएका हेलम्बु गाउँपालिका पाल्चोकका ३० वर्षीय लक्ष्मण गाउँ फर्किएको विशेष सूचनाका आधारमा इलाका प्रहरी मेलम्चीले लुकिछिपी बसेको स्थान बेल्टारबाट पक्राउ गरेको प्रहरी निरीक्षक नवराज ढुंगानाले बताए । ढुंगानाले जिल्ला अदालतबाट म्याद थप गरी घटना सम्बन्धमा अनुसन्धान भइरहेको बताए ।
