Police have arrested 51-year-old Bhupa Nepali of Sotang rural municipality-5 on the charge of raping a 22-year-old mute woman from the same place. Nepali was arrested on Friday from his home on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim's relatives stating that Nepali raped the woman on Thursday, informed DPO Solukhumbu. Police are further investigating on the incident. बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा सोलुखुम्बुको सोताङका एक जनालाई प्रहरीले प्रक्राउ गरेको छ । सोताङ गाउँपालिका–५ का भुप नेपालीलाई सोताङकै एक बोल्न नसक्ने महिलालाई करणी गरेको उजुरीको आधारमा पक्राउ गरिएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । बिहीबार दिउँसो नेपालीले २२ वर्षीय युवतीलाई करणी गरेको भन्दै पीडित महिलाको आफन्तले सोताङ प्रहरी चौकीमा उजुरी गरेका थिए । ५१ वर्षीय आरोपित नेपालीलाई शुक्रबार प्रहरीले घरैबाट पक्राउ गरेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय सोलुखुम्बुले जनाएको छ । अहिले आरोपित नेपालीलाई सदरमुकाम ल्याई आवश्यक अनुसन्धान भइरहेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ ।
