Police on Tuesday arrested 31-year-old Rabi Khatri of Bhimphedi rural municipality-1, currently residing in Tillottama municipality-3 Simanagar of Rupandehi on the charge of raping an 8-year-old girl. Khatri was arrested on the basis of a complaint filed by the victim's parents at Area Police Office on Tuesday accusing him of raping the girl on the same day. The victim underwent medical examination at Lumbini hospital in Butwal. आठ वर्षीया बालिकालाई बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा प्रहरीले मकवानपुर जिल्ला भिमफेदी गाउँपालिका-१ स्थायी घर भई हाल तिलोत्तमा नगरपालिका-३ सीमानगर बस्ने ३१ वर्षीय रवि खत्रीलाई साउन १० गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । पीडित बालिकालाई आरोपितले साउन १० गते बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा पीडित बालिकाका अभिभावकले इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालयमा सोही दिन उजुरी दिएका थिए । पीडित पक्षको उजुरीका आधारमा आरोपितलाई अनुसन्धानका लागि गिरफ्तार गएकिो इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय बुटवलका सई बाबुराम पुरीले बताए । पीडित बालिकाको स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण साउन १० गते नै लुम्बिनी अञ्चल अस्पताल बुटवलमा गरिएको छ ।
