Prosperous Bakaiya Struggle Committee has padlocked the office of the rural municipality situated in ward no 4 of the municipality at Shantitol. The committee padlocked the rural municipality office presenting the current large size of the rural municipality as a hindrance to development. It has demanded to decrease the size of the municipality and retain it's center at current location. The committee has also decided to indefinite padlock the office until it's demands were met. समृद्द बकैया संघर्ष समितिले बकैया गाउँपालिकाको कार्यलयमा तालाबन्दी गरेको छ। बकैया गाउँपालिका वडा नं ४ शान्तिटोलमा रहेको कार्यालयमा तालाबन्दी गरेको हो। समितिले मंगलबार तालाबन्दी गर्दै बकैया गाउँपालिका निकै ठुलो भएको र बिकास गर्न सम्भव नहुने भएकोले गाउँपालिका टुक्र्याउनुपर्ने, बकैया गाउँपालिकाको केन्द्र हाल भएकै स्थानमा हुनुपर्ने माग गर्दै गाउँपालिकाको कार्यालयमा अनिश्चितकालीन तालाबन्दी गरिएको संघर्ष समितिले जनाएको छ। समितिले हाल कायम रहेको मुख्य कार्यालयलाई कुनैपनि हालतमा अन्यत्र सार्न नदिने बिषयमा पनि अडान राखेको छ।
