Police in Parsa district on Sunday made public an Indian national arrested along with a homemade pistol.
The arrestee has been identified as Mohamad Shumsher of Raxaul in India.
According to the DPO, Shumsher entering Nepal by motorcycle (BR 22 M 3263) had aroused suspicion. He was held after the security personnel found the weapon hidden beneath the seat during a security check, said Superintendent of Police (SP) Sudip Giri.
In course of recording his statement, Shumsher had entered Nepal to loot a gold entrepreneur of Birgunj, police informed.
Meanwhile, police arrested two Indian nationals along with 100-gram yarsagumba in Darchula district.
The arrested have been identified as Anup Naganyal (19) and Mannu Rathaur (17).
