A woman was injured in a khukuri attack by her son in Jhapa on Sunday. The woman identified as 38-year-old Rekha Satar of Damak municipality-5 sustained serious injury when her son 24-year-old Shiva Kumar Satar attacked her with khukuri after she intervened at a dispute between Shiva Kumar and 18-year-old Dinesh Bhujel of the same place around 4:00pm in the afternoon. She is undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.
