Dr Govinda KC has begun his 12th fast-unto-death from Monday, stating that the Medical Education Bill that is under consideration in the parliament is being endorsed to favor the medical mafia. Organizing a press conference, KC has started the hunger strike from today by putting forth the demands, including the immediate halt of the mafia-oriented bill and fulfilling of other bills. “It is widely known that the government is repeatedly breaching the agreement reached after our long campaign for the reforms in the medical education and health sector, and working for the benefits of limited entrepreneurs and mafias.
