Police have arrested 21 years old Basanta Shrestha of Chulachuli Rural Municipality-2 on October 7 on charge of attempting to rape 52 years old woman. The victim’s party had lodged a complaint at police office against the accused om October 6 after he attempted to rape woman who is mentally retarded. The accused was arrested after the complaint according to inspector Mohan Thapa of DPO. The victim is undergoing treatment at District Hospital as she sustained injury on her face during the rape attempt. ५२ वर्षीया एक महिलालाई बलात्कार प्रयास गरेको आरोपमा प्रहरीले चुलाचुली गाउँपालिका-२ का २१ वर्षीय वसन्त श्रेष्ठलाई असोज २१ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । सुस्त मनस्थितिकी पीडित महिलालाई आरोपितले असोज १९ गते बलात्कार प्रयास गरेको आरोपमा पीडित पक्षले असोज २० गते जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा उजुरी दिएपछि अनुसन्धानका लागि आरोपितलाई गिरफ्तार गरिएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयका इन्स्पेक्टर मोहन थापाले जानकारी दिए । पीडित महिलाको अनुहारमा चोट लागेकाले असोज २० गते जिल्ला अस्पतालमा उपचार र स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण गरिएको इन्स्पेक्टर थापाले जानकारी दिए ।
