Locals at Bhadrapur Municipality has staged a sit-in at Nayak brick factory on Oct 8 against the pollution caused by the industry. They have demanded to relocate the industry to some other place as it had been creating health hazards in the residential area. Such a move by the locals had come after relentlessly requesting the government to take action against such factories that had been operating in a residential area against government standards.According to the coordinator of the struggle committee, they had organized the sit-in after the brick factory owners restarted works by hiring Indian workers. इँटा उद्योग संचालकले नटेरेपछि पिडित स्थानीयवासी इँटा उद्योग परिसरभित्रै धर्नामा बस्न बाध्य भएका छन्।सरकारले तोकेको मापदण्ड विपरित मानववस्तीमा संचालित डीभीआइ र नायक इँटा उद्योग हटाउने पक्षमा उभिएका स्थानीयले भद्रपुर नगरपालिका र झापा प्रशासन समक्ष पटक-पटक गुहार मागी सकेका छन्।नगरपालिका र झापा प्रशासनले स्थानीयको मागलाई सम्बोधन नगरेपछि उनीहरु आइतबार धर्नामा बस्न थालेका हुन्।नगरपालिका र झापा प्रशासनले स्थानीयको मागलाई सम्बोधन नगरेपछि उनीहरु धर्नामा बस्न थालेका हुन्।उद्योग चलिरहेको बेला उद्योग संचालकले पुनःउत्पादन शुरु गर्न भारतबाट कामदार मगाएपछी उद्योग परिसरमा धर्ना दिन थालेको संयोजक लिम्बूले बताए।
