There has been a clash between Student Unions and the staffs of Education Ministry. 9 Student Unions, excluding ANFSU, cloyingly reached the ministry to submit the memorandum. Immediately after reaching there, they closed the door and started protesting, demanding Minister's resignation. They also had other demands such as cancellation of amendment of education bill etc. Police reached the spot after half an hour of protest. ANFSU's Secretary Aarati Lamichhane said that the clash broke out because the staffs prohibited the students from entering the office. 9 unions have taken a decision to publicly condemn the incident, blaming Shrestha for jeopardizing education policy. शिक्षा मन्त्रालयका कर्मचारी र नौ विद्यार्थी संगठनहरुबीच झडप भएको छ । शिक्षामन्त्री गोपालमान श्रेष्ठलाई कालोमोसो दल्न पुगेका विद्यार्थीहरुलाई कर्मचारीहरुले रोक्न खोज्दा झडप भएको हो । नेविसंघ बाहेकका नौ विद्यार्थी संगठनहरु शुक्रबार ज्ञापनपत्र बुझाउने भन्दै ढाँटेर मन्त्रीको कार्यकक्षमा पुगेका थिए । त्यसलगत्तै उनीहरुले ढोका थुनेर नाराबाजी सुरु गरेका थिए । उनीहरुले शिक्षामन्त्रीको राजीनामा माग्दै नारावाजी गरेका थिए । शिक्षा विधेयकको नवौ संशोधन फिर्ता गर्नुपर्ने, बिभिन्न कलेजहरुलाई दिइएको सम्वन्धन खारेज गर्नुपर्ने लगायतका नारा विद्यार्थीहरुले लगाएका थिए । झण्डै आधा घण्टासम्म नारा लगाएपछि प्रहरीले हस्तक्षेप गरेको थियो । त्यसपछि विद्यार्थीहरु कार्यकक्षबाट बाहिरिएका थिए । कर्मचारीहरुले विद्यार्थीहरुलाई रोकेपछि झडप भएको अनेरास्ववियुका सचिव आरसी लामिछानेले जानकारी दिए । बिहीबार बसेको नौ विद्यार्थी संगठनहरुको बैठकले शिक्षामन्त्री श्रेष्ठले नेपालको शिक्षा नीतिलाई तहस नहस गरेको आरोप लगाउँदै सार्वजनिक बहिष्कार गर्ने निर्णय गरेका थिए ।
