Women against malpractice in Kanchanpur

Janaki Joshi of Bedkot Municipality-2 used to stay in the shed till 4-5 days during her mensuration period but now she stays in her house, eats, and sleeps normally but she does not touch any source of water or other people. In Jadopani area there were many cases of violence against women by their husbands. The husband used to get drunk and beat their wives. Due to the initiatives of females, the area has now been declared as an alcohol restricted area which has decreased the violence against women in this area.
