Health professionals in Sunsari District Hospital have halted services other than emergency following the incident of assault on a doctor. The doctors of the hospital took out a demonstration demanding action against Inspector Santosh Kumar Pokharel who assaulted the doctor under the influence of alcohol. Inspector Pokharel is currently working in Sunsari District Police Office. सुनसरीमा रहेको जिल्ला अस्पतालमा मादक पदार्थ सेवन गरेर प्रहरी निरीक्षक सन्तोषकुमार पोखरेलले चिकित्सकमाथि हातपात गरेका छन् । मादक पदार्थ सेवन गरेर आएका प्रहरी निरीक्षक पोखरेलले चिकित्सकमाथि हातपात गरेपछि केही बेर तनावको स्थिति बनेको थियो । हातपात पछि चिकित्सकहरुले आकस्मिक सेवासहितका सबै सेवाहरु बन्द गरेका छन् । अहिले पनि चिकित्सकहरुले प्रहरी निरीक्षक पोखरेललाई कारवाही माग राख्दै प्रदर्शन समेत गरेका छन् । प्रहरी निरिक्षक पोखरेल जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय, सुनसरीमा कार्यरत छन् ।
