Police have arrested 70 years old Suk Bahadur Tamang of Jugal Rural Municipality-2 on December 11 on charge of raping 25 years old woman. The accused had repeatedly raped the victim from May till August and was threatened to kill if she revealed the incident. This has delayed the incident to be public. The victim said that the complaint was lodged at District Police Office in support of Village children protection committee on October 13. The accused is at large and search is undergong according to incharge Raj Kumar Thapa of the committee. The victim underwent a health checkup at Chautara Hospital on October 13. २५ वर्षीया महिलालाई बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा प्रहरीले जुगल गाउँपालिका-२ का ७० वर्षीय सुकुबहादुर तामाङलाई मङ्सिर २५ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । आरोपितले ०७४ जेठदेखि भदौ २९ गतेसम्म पीडितलाई पटकपटक बलात्कार गर्दै आएको र बलात्कार विरूद्ध कतै उजुरी गरे वा अरु कसैलाई भनेमा गोली हानेर मारिदिने धम्की दिँदै बन्दुक देखाएकोले घटना सार्वजनिक हुन ढिलाई भएको बताइएको छ । बलात्कारविरूद्ध असोज २७ गते जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा गाउँ बाल संरक्षण समितिका संयोजकको सहयोगमा उजुरी गरेको पीडितले बताइन् । आरोपित फरार भएकाले तत्काल गिरफ्तार गर्न नसकेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयस्थित महिला तथा बालबालिका सेवा केन्द्रका इञ्चार्ज राजकुमार थापाले बताए । पीडित महिलाको स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण असोज २७ गते चौतारा अस्पतालमा गरिएको थियो ।
