Dipayal remained tense throughout the day today. The irate protesters torched a motorbike (Ba 1 Ba 7339) belonging to the District Forest Office and also set the Pipalla-based traffic police beat on fire. Residents of Doti have been staging demonstrations since this morning after the government declared temporary provincial capital against their liking. They have been demanding that Doti be declared the provincial capital of Province 7.
