Nepalgunj locals in collaboration with different organizations continued their protests on Friday demanding Nepalgunj must be announced as the capital of Province No 5. Locals organized a protest rally in the lead of PAPAD Banke marched around the city before turning into a corner assembly. Speakers of the protest program said that Nepalgunj is adequately equipped with physical infrastructure and the district has been a major administrative and economic hub of 24 districts in the mid and far west. Banke residents had started protests lobbying for the provincial capital as the government declared Butwal as the temporary capital of Province no. 5. Newly elected parliament members, providence assembly members and local representatives and leaders of various business organizations had also taken part in the protest program. प्रदेश राजधानी माग्दै नेपालगंजबासी आन्दोलित भएका छन् । आन्दोलनमा रहेका बाँकेबासीले शुक्रबार पापडको अगुवाईमा नेपालगंजमा प्रदर्शन गरेका छन् । सरकारले प्रदेश नं ५ को राजधानी बुटवललाई घोषणा गरेपछि नेपालगन्जबसी आन्दोलित भएका हुन् । र्यालीमा नव-निर्वाचित प्रतिनिधि सभा सदस्य, प्रदेश सभा सदस्य, स्थानीय निकाय प्रमुख र व्यवसायिक क्षेत्रका प्रतिनिधिहरुको उपस्थिति रहेको थियो । र्यालीपछिको विरोधसभामा संसद मोहम्मद इस्तियाक राई , बिधायक सुरेन्द्र हमाल, नेपालगन्जका नगर प्रमुख धवल समशेर राणा लगाएतले जुनसुकै दृष्टिकोणबाट पनि प्रदेश राजधानी हुन उपयुक्त भएको बताएका छन् ।
