An elderly woman was killed by using a sharp weapon in Pokharathok of Baganaskali-2, Palpa district on Friday. Bishnu Prasad Khanal, 63 murdered his neighbour Ishwori Bhattarai, 65 today, police informed. DSP Binod Ghimire said that Khanal killed Bhattarai when the latter’s daughter-in-law was the only person in the home. Khanal, who fled the scene after the incident, was arrested from Bartung of Tansen Municipality-5, police said. The motive behind the murder is yet to the established, DSP Ghimire said. बगनासकाली, २ पोखराथोकमा धारिलो हतियार प्रहार गरी एक महिलाको शुक्रबार हत्या भएको छ । ६५ वर्षीया ईश्वरी भट्टराईको उनकै छिमेकी ६३ वर्षीय विष्णुप्रसाद खनालले हत्या गरेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । भट्टराईको घरमा उनकी बुहारी मात्र भएका बेलामा खनालले हत्या गरेको जिल्ला प्रहरीका डीएसपी विनोद घिमिरेले जानकारी दिए । हत्या गरी फरार भएका खनाललाई तानसेन नगरपालिका, ६ बर्तुङबाट प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको थियो । हत्या के कति कारणले भएको हो भन्नेबारे अनुसन्धान भइरहेको छ ।
