6 demonstrators have been arrested in the demonstration done by the victims of Shivam Cement under the leadership of District Police Office Makwanpur's Madhu Thapa. Locals have complained that they were arrested in spite of the peaceful demonstration done with the demand of environment and culture protection. Govinda Gautam, Surya Pakhrin, Tara Bahadur Bista, Krishna Dev Bhandari and Hom Nath Chaulagain were arrested. Shivam Cement has constantly been involved in the issue of theft of electricity, capturing of public property, etc. They have threatened to continue the demonstration. जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय मकवानपुरका मधु थापाको कमाण्डमा खटिएको प्रहरी टोलीले शिवम सिमेन्टपीडितको आन्दोलनमा ६ जनालाई पक्राउ गरेको हो। दीगो वातावरण तथा संस्कृति संरक्षण मंचले विभिन्न माग राखी गरेको शान्तिपूर्ण आन्दोलनको समस्याको समाधान नखोजी उद्योगले प्रहरी बोलाएर पक्राउ गर्न लगाएको स्थानीयले आरोप लगाएका छन्। पक्राउ पर्नेमा संस्था अध्यक्ष गोविन्द गौतम, सूर्य पाख्रिन, ताराबहादुर बिष्ट, कृष्णदेव भण्डारी, होमनाथ चौलागाईं लगायतका छन्। बिद्युत चोरी काण्ड, वन काण्ड, सार्वजनिक जग्गा कब्जा काण्डमा पटकपटक मुछिएको शिवम सिमेन्टले स्थानीय नागरिकले बाच्न पाउनुपर्ने आवाज उठाउँदा प्रहरी लगाएर पक्रन लगाएको स्थानीयले बताएका छन्। शिवममा विभिन्न माग राखेर त्यस क्षेत्रका स्थानीय आन्दोलित हुँदै आएका छन्। बर्षेनी शिवमविरुद्द विभिन्न माग उठ्ने गरेको छ।
