A pregnant woman lost her life while being treated in Butwal's Lumbini Zonal Hospital. Her relatives demonstrated outside the hospital and even padlocked it, stating that she lost her lives because of the carelessness of the doctors and nurses. 32-years-old Bhagwati Adhikari, resident of Palpa Jhadewa lost her life at 11:00 AM on March 4. She was given saline because of her condition after which she lost her life. Different reasons were given by the hospital management after her death. A doctor said that she lost her life because of the heart attack. While the others said that it was because the water entered her lungs. सुत्केरी हुन् बुटवलको लुम्बिनी अंचल अस्पतालमा आएकी महिलाको मृत्यु भएपछि सोमबार दिनभर तनाव भएको छ। अस्पतालमा कार्यरत नर्सहरुले गलत औषधि बिरामीलाई स्लाइनमार्फत दिएर गर्भवतीको मृत्यु भएको भन्दै आफन्तले अस्पतालमा तालाबन्दी र नाराबाजी गरेका हुन्। पाल्पा झडेवाकी ३२ बर्षीया भगवती अधिकारीको आइतबार ११ बजे मृत्यु भएको थियो। बुटवलको अमरपथमा बस्दै आएकी उनी साथीसंग रिक्सा चढेर अस्पताल पुगेकी थिईन। अंचल अस्पतालमै नियमित चेकजांच गरिरहेकी उनको स्वास्थ्य अवस्था ठिक रहेको चिकित्सकले बताएका थिए। आइतबार सुत्केरीको व्यथा लागेजस्तो भएपछि उनी अस्पताल पुगेकी थिइन्। अस्पताल पुग्नासाथ स्लाइन चढाएपची उनी अचेत बनेको उनका दाजु मोति खनालले बताए। मृत्युपछि चिकित्सकहरुले फरकफरक कारण बताएपछि आफन्तहरु आन्दोलित भएका हुन्। घटनालगत्तै चिकित्सकले हृदयघातका कारण मृत्यु भएको बताएका थिए। पछि भने बच्चा रहने पानीको फोका फुटेर फोक्सोमा जाँदा मृत्यु भएको चिकित्सकको दाबी छ। भगवतीका श्रीमान पशुपति अधिकारीले चिकित्सकले गलत औषधी चढाएको कारणले गर्दा मृत्यु भएको बताए।
