Husband held for wife’s death

A 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection to his wife’s death in Aathrai Rural Municipality, Tehrathum. Police said they arrested Govinda Oli on Saturday for fatally punching his wife, Chandrakala, 30, under the influence of alcohol. The Oli couple, who hail from Basgadi Muni-cipality-5 of Bardiya district, were working in Tehrathum as construction workers. Govinda had reportedly attacked his wife over a dispute. Police said they have started the investigation. (PR)
