Police are searching for a man who is on the run after raping his 11-year-old niece in Aandhikhola Rural Municipality, Syangja, on February 16. According to Badri Prasad Wagle of Central Child Welfare Committee, the incident came to light after the girl was brought to Kaski for treatment. Doctors say the girl might have been raped multiple times in the past as well. The accused man fled the village after Kaski police informed police in Syangja about the incident. The girl is staying at a children’s shelter in Kaski.
