Police on Sunday arrested 30-year-old Suryaman Basnet of Ilam municipality-9 on the charge of raping a 12-year-old girl. Police arrested Basnet on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim's family at district police office Ilam on May 17. In the complaint the victim's family stated that Basnet raped the minor girl on May 16. The victim undwerwent medical examination at district hospital. Police are futher investigating on the incident. १२ वर्षीया बालिकालाई बलात्कार आरोपमा प्रहरीले इलाम नगरपालिका-९ का ३० वर्षीय सूर्यमान बस्नेतलाई जेठ ६ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । पीडित बालिकालाई आरोपितले जेठ ३ गते बलात्कार गरेको भन्दै पीडित पक्षले जेठ ४ गते जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा उजुरी दिएको थियो । पीडित बालिकाको स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण ४ गते नै जिल्ला अस्पतालमा गरिएको छ ।
