Students’ Union affiliated to various political parties had padlocked the offices of the Department of Education, Kathmandu. The students padlocked the offices citing that the department is silence about the high amount of fee taken by private schools and failed to implement the past agreements signed with them. The students unions accused the Department of education is science about the issue that private boarding schools are breaking rule of School fee standard 2072 B.S. निजी निध्यलायाले गरेको चर्को शुल्क वृद्धि बिरुद्ध आन्दोलनरत बिध्यार्थी संगठनले बिहिबार शिक्षा विभागका महानिर्देसकको कार्यकक्षमा तालाबन्दी गरेका छन् । शिक्षा विभागले जारी गरेको सस्थागत बिध्यालय शुल्क मापदण्ड निर्देशिका २०७२ को ठाडो उल्लङ्घन गर्दै निजी विद्यालयले चर्को शुल्क असुलिरहेको बेला पनि शिक्षा बिभाग मौन रहेको भन्दै बिध्यार्थी संगठनले तालाबन्दी गरेका हुन् । अनेरास्ववियु , नेविसंघ, अहिल क्रान्तिकारी लगाएत बिध्यार्थी संगठनले लामो समयदेखी पटकपटक ध्यानाकर्षण गराउंदा पनि बिभाग मौन बसेकाले तालाबन्दी गरेको बताए ।
