Teachers and guardians of students of Maisthan Bidhyapith School at Birgunj, picketed Birgunj Metropolitan office on Wednesday claiming that the metropolitan was trying to disrupt the educational environment at the school seeking unwarranted explanation. The metropolitan had written to the school on Monday seeking explanation why classes were run in English medium. It was also written that the school had been charging high tuition fees and also had not submitted audit report. वीरगंज महानगरपालिकाको कार्यालयले माईस्थान विद्यापीठलाई पूर्वाग्राही ढंगले स्पष्टीकरण मागेर विद्यालयको शैक्षिक वातावरण बिगार्न खोजेको भन्दै अभिभावक र शिक्षकहरुले बुधबार महानगरपालिकाको कार्यालय घेराउ गरेका छन्।घेराउ गर्नेमा विद्यालयका प्रधानाद्यापक,शिक्षक तथा अभिभावकहरुको ठुलो समूह थियो ।विद्यालयको अंग्रेजी माध्यमबाट हुने पठनपाठनप्रति महानगरपालिकाको कार्यालयले चासो देखाउँदै सोमबार स्पष्टिकरण सोधेको थियो ।पत्रमा विद्यालयले चर्को शुल्क लिइरहेको र लेखा परिक्षण प्रतिवेदन पनि नबुझाएको उल्लेख छ ।विवादका कारण बुधबार विद्यालयको अंग्रेजी माध्यमको कक्षा अवरुद्ध भयो ।
