Teachers of Chandrapur Municipality, Rautahat staged a sit-in in front of municipality office demanding the salary of 4 months. Chandrapur Municipality had not transacted the salary amount in the schools account from last four months. The government had made the decision to provide salary of government teachers from local levels. The protesting teachers said they will continue their protest program if the municipality office will not transect the salary amount in the account of schools by next week. बिगत चार महिना देखि तलब नपाएको भन्दै चंद्रपुर नगरपालिका भित्र रहेका सरकारी शिक्षकहरुले बुधबार नगरपालिका कार्यालय घेराउ गरेका छन् । २०७४ सालको अन्तिम चौमासिक रकम हालसम्म पनि वितरण नगरेको भन्दै उनीहरुले नगरपालिका कार्यालय घेराउ गर्दै मेयरलाई ज्ञापन पत्र बुझाएका छन् । नेपाल सरकारले सामुदायिक बिध्यालयमा कार्यरत शिक्षकहरुको बिध्यालयमा कार्यरत शिक्षकहरुको तलब भट्ट मासिक रुपमा दिने निर्णय गरेपनि सो निर्णयको कार्यन्वयन नभएको उनीहरुले बताए । शिक्षकहरुले ७ दिन भित्र नगर भित्रका बिध्यालयको खातामा रकम निकासा नगरे थप आन्दोलन गर्न बाध्य हुने बताए ।
