Police have arrested 26 years old Indra Gurung of Birendranagar Municipality-12 on July 25 on charge of raping 16 years old girl. The victim’s party had lodged complaint against the accused at District Police Office of Surkhet on July 25 and he was arrested based on the complaint according to inspector Shankar Shrestha. According to the victim’s party, the girl was raped by the accused by pretexting her of marriage and he even threatened the victim not to reveal the incident. The victim underwent health checkup at regional hospital of Surkhet. १६ वर्षीया बालिकालाई बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा प्रहरीले वीरेन्द्रनगर नपा-१२ का २६ वर्षीय ईन्द्र गुरुङलाई साउन ९ गते वीरेन्द्रनगरबाट गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । पीडित पक्षले साउन ९ गते आरोपितविरूद्ध जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा उजुरी दिएपछि प्रहरीले आरोपितलाई गिरफ्तार गरेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय सुर्खेतका इन्स्पेक्टर शङ्कर श्रेष्ठले बताए । पीडितले दिएको उजुरीमा विवाह गर्ने बहानामा आफ्नै घरमा लगी पीडित बलिकालाई आरोपितले साउन ३ गते बलात्कार गरेको र सो घटनाका विषयमा कसैलाई भने मार्ने धम्की दिएको उल्लेख छ । पीडित बालिकाको स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण साउन ६ गते क्षेत्रीय अस्पताल सुर्खेतमा गरिएको थियो ।
