A group of men attacked 6 people in a meeting called for discussion on the construction of a road through a private land on July 20. Altogether 150 locals attended the meeting. 3 men from Brindaban-4, Nagendra Yadav, Lal Babu Yadav and Dharmendra Ray Yadav including Ward Chairperson, Shyamananda Yadav brutally thrashed San Lal Sah, Birendra Ray Yadav, Suresh Prasad Yadav, Sunita Devi, Ram Narayan Yadav and Fulwati Devi during the meeting with sticks and stones. The perpetrators demanded that the road be built through San Lal Yadav in Brindaban-4. They also vandalized 13 motorcycles. All of the victims were taken to various hospitals in Rautahat and Parsa for treatment.
