A 22-year-old woman from Birtamod, Jhapa has filed a case against her husband in charge of a marital rape case. She has said that her husband forcefully made her into a sexual act and then get disappear for more than 10 days and come home again and rape her. Police are further investigating the case. बिर्तामोड नगरपालिकाकी २२ वर्षीय युवतीले आफ्नो श्रीमानले बलात्कार गरेको उजुरी दिएपछि श्रीमान्लाई पक्राउ गरिएको हो । श्रीमातीले जाहेरीमा श्रीमान्ले इच्छा विपरित यौन सम्पर्क राख्ने गरेको उल्लेख गरेकी छिन् । उनले श्रीमान् १०/१२ दिन हराउने, अनि आएर सम्पर्क राखेपछि फेरि हराउने गरेको पनि जनाएका छिन् । इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय, बिर्तामोडका प्रमुख डिएसपी कृष्ण कोइरालाका अनुसार पक्राउ परेका श्रीमान्माथि वैवाहिक बलात्कारको मुद्दा दायर गरिएको छ । थप अनुसन्धान भइरहेको उनले बताए ।
