Police have arrested 50-year-old Jaya Lal Chaudhary of Chandrapur municipality-5 in Rautahat on the charge of rape attempt. According to the police, Chaudhary allegedly tried to rape a girl working in his own tailor of Wednesday evening by promising to give her new clothes in his home. The girl jumped off Chaudhary's motorcycle on the way and escaped. She sustained and is being treated at Chandrapur hospital. Police arrested Chaudhary on the same night on rape attempt charge following the victim's complaint at Area Police Office Chandrapur, informed DSP Shantiraj Koirala. He was found heavily intoxicated at the time of the arrest. Police are further investigating on the incident. आफ्नै लुगा सिउने पसलमा कार्यरत एक युवतीसँग जवरजस्ती यौन सम्बन्ध बनाउन खोज्ने सञ्चालकलाई प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको छ। पक्राउ पर्नेमा रौतहटको चन्द्रपुर ५ का ५० वर्षीय जयलाल चौधरी रहेका छन्। गत बुधबार साँझ करिव साँढे ७ बजे कपडा दिने वहानामा आफ्नो घर लैजाने भन्दै जंगलतर्फ लग्न खोजेपछि युवतीले मोटरसाइकलवाट हाम फालेकी थिइन्। मोटरसाइकलवाट हाम फालेकी युवती घाईते भएकी र उनको उपचार चन्द्रपुर अस्पतालमा भइरहेको इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय चन्द्रपुरले जनाएको छ। पसल संचालक चौधरीलाई सोही दिन राती प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको हो। मदिराले लठ्ठीएको अवस्थामा चौधरीलाई पक्राउ गरिएको इप्रका चन्द्रपुरका डिएसपि शान्तिराज कोइरालाले बताए। युवतीको बयानको आधारमा चौधरीलाई पक्राउ गरिएको र अदालतबाट म्याद थपेर घटनाबारे अनुसन्धान भइरहेको कोइरालाले बताए।
