Kins of a patient who died right after delivery at Birat Medical College Teaching Hospital in Morang demonstrated at the hospital on Aug 9. They said that 25-year-old Sagira Khatun died at the hospital due to doctor's negligence after giving birth to her baby. They closed the main gate of the hospital and picketed . Sagira Khatun of Itahari-13 was admitted at the hospital a week ago and breathed her last on Aug 8.But the doctors only informed her relatives about her death the next day. However, the doctors said that Khatun died after her relatived denied to keep her on ventilator. A huge number of security personnels were deployed at the hospital after the incident. मोरङको बूढीगंगास्थित बिराट मेडिकल कलेज टिचिङ हस्पिटलमा डाक्टरको लापरवाहीले बिरामी मृत्यु भएको आरोप लगाउँदै आफन्तले बिहिबार अस्पताल घेराउ गरेका छन् ।इटहरी-१३ खनारकी २५ वर्षीय गर्भवती महिला सगिरा खातुनको मृत्यु भन्दै मृतकका आफन्तले नाराबाजी गर्दै अस्पताल घेराउ गरेका हुन् । उनीहरुले मुलगेट बन्द गर्दै अस्पतालविरुद्ध नाराबाजी गरेका थिए ।मृतक महिलाका काकाससुरा समिम अख्तरका अनुसार एक हप्ताअघि अस्पताल भर्ना भएकी सगिराको बुधबार राति नै मृत्यु भए पनि डाक्टरहरुले बिहिबार बिहान खबर गर्दा आफन्तहरु तनावमा एक थिए । अस्पताल प्रशासनले भने महिलालाई भेन्टिलेटरमा राख्नुपर्छ भन्दा आफन्तहरुले नमानेपछी मृत्यु भएको र बच्चा भेन्टिलेटरमा सुरक्षित रहेको जनाएको छ । बिरामीको मृत्यु हुनुमा अस्पतालको कुनै लापरवाही नभएको अस्पताल प्रशासनले दाबी गरेको छ ।अस्पतालमा बाक्लो सुरक्षाकर्मी परिचालन गरिएको छ ।
