Police have arrested 20 years old Sanjaya Rai of Salpasilicho Rural Municipality-5 on August 28 on suspicion of killing 11 years old girl after rape. On August 27, the victim was with the accused and he is also her acquaintance. Next day she was found dead. The nature of the death revealed that she was killed after rape according to inspector Sanjeev Oli of District Police Office. The postmortem of the body was conducted at District Hospital of Khandbari. Police however said that the reason behind the death will be confirmed only after the postmortem report. The incident site is 2 days walk from the district hospital. The victim was living with mother Dhanmani Rai and her step father Rajan Rai. एघार वर्षीया बालिकाको बलात्कारपछि हत्या गरेको आरोपमा साल्पासिलिछो गाउँपालिका-५ सालेवाका २० वर्षीय सञ्जय राईलाई प्रहरीले भदौ १२ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । भदौ ११ गते खाना खाएर नाताले मामा पर्ने आरोपितसँग मोबाइलमा फिल्म हेर्छु भन्दै सुतेकी बालिका १२ गते बिहान मृत अवस्थामा फेला परेकी हुन् । मृत्युको प्रकृति हेर्दा बलात्कारपछि हत्या भएको जस्तो देखिएकाले बालिकासँगै सुतेका आरोपितलाई अनुसन्धानका लागि गिरफ्तार गरिएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयका इन्स्पेक्टर सञ्जीव ओलीले बताए । शवको पोष्टमार्टम १२ गते साँझ जिल्ला अस्पताल खाँदवारीमा गरिएपनि रिपोर्ट नआएकाले बलात्कारपछि हत्या हो वा सामान्य मृत्यु भन्ने बारेमा केही भन्न नसकिने इन्स्पेक्टर ओलीले बताए । घटनास्थलबाट जिल्ला अस्पताल भोजपुर पुग्न दुई दिन पैदल हिँडुनु पर्ने बाध्यताका कारण एक दिनको यात्रामा जिल्ला अस्पताल खाँदवारी पुग्न सकिने भएकाले शव खाँदवारी पठाइएको इन्स्पेक्टर ओलीको भनाई छ । बालिकाकी आमा धनमणी राई र सौतेनी बाबु (डोलाजी) राजन राईसँग बस्दै आएकी छिन् ।
