Nepali Congress cadres halted the work of 27 wards of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan demanding to take back the decision of tax increment. The cadres of Nepali congress sit-in before the ward offices from 10 am and halted the work of wards. The cadres and ward chairpersons affiliated to NC are in protest as the sub-metropolitan office increased price in different topics. नेपाली कांग्रेस जनकपुर नगरसमितिले करवृद्धिको बिरोध गर्दै जनकपुर उपमहानगरपालिकाका सबै कार्यालयको कामकाज ठप्प गरेका छन् । जनकपुर उपमहानगरपालिकाका २७ वटै वडा कार्यालयमा बिहान १० बजे देखि कांग्रेसका कार्यकर्ताले धर्ना दिएर कामकाज ठप्प पारेका हुन् । जनकपुर उपमहानगरपालिकाले बिभिन्न शिर्षकमा कर बढाएको भन्दै कांग्रेस निकट वडाध्यक्ष र कार्यकर्ताहरु आन्दोलित भएका हुन् ।
