Police have arrested Nur Prasad Adhikari, son of Ganga Maya Adhikari, on a murder charge on Monday. The Metropolitan Police Circle, Lalitpur arrested Nur Prasad citing investigation into a murder case. The police today itself presented Nur Prasad at the Lalitpur District Court which remanded him for 7 days custody for investigation. According to Lalitpur Police SSP Rabindra Dhanuk, Nur Prasad, on Sunday, was involved in the vandalism of Patan High Court and had also hurled a chair at court official Roshan Basnet. The police arrested Nur Prasad after the High Court wrote the police demanding investigation into the matter. Nur Prasad resorted to vandalism following a High Court verdict against him regarding the ownership of a land of Bindu Ghatane.
