A 28-year-old woman with mental disability was raped in Arubari of Simaltar in Kathmandu. She was reportedly raped by a youth who worked in a metal work shop. Boudha Police arrested the accused, Dawa Tamang of Solukhumbu on rape charge. Family members of the victim accused Tamang of raping the woman while she was returning home from church. Tamang allegedly raped the woman by taking her to his shop. Tamang confessed to the police during interrogation that he raped the woman while he was intoxicated. Police are furthre investigating on the incident. काठमाडौंको सिमलटारस्थित आरुबारीमा २८ वर्षीय युवती बलात्कृत भएकी छन् । मानसिक रोगी ती युवती स्थानीय एक ग्रिल पसलमा बलात्कृत भएकी हुन् । उनलाई बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा महानगरीय प्रहरी वृत्त, बौद्धले सोलुखुम्बुका दावा तामाङलाई पक्राउ गरेको छ । युवती चर्चबाट फर्किँदै गरेको वेला फकाएर लगेर तामाङले बलात्कार गरेको पीडित परिवारको आरोप छ । तामाङको बुबाले सञ्चालन गरेको ग्रिल पसलमा लगेर उनले बलात्कार गरेको जनाइएको छ । प्रहरी स्रोतका अनुसार तामाङले बयानमा आफ्नो कसुर स्वीकारेका छन् । उनले आफूले मादक पदार्थ सेवन गरेको तालमा घटना भएको बयान दिएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । थप अनुसन्धान भइरहेको प्रहरीको भनाइ छ ।
